New hope of non-invasive therapy for gastrointestinal disorder
|
A collaborative team from the CUHK Faculties of Engineering and Medicine has developed wirelessly powered electronic stents for a new electrical stimulation therapy to prevent and potentially cure gastric acid reflux. It eliminates the need for invasive surgery to implant a device. This breakthrough has been highlighted by Nature Reviews Bioengineering.

CUHK hosted the American photographer Ms. Lois Conner as the inaugural Artist-in-Residence during February to March with the assistance of the Yale-China Association. Ms. Conner shared her journey on photography with the CUHK community, engaged with fellow artists, and explored the city to capture its many unique facets.

Advancing research in regenerative immunology with CUHK-University of Manchester combined Bachelor’s and Master’s degree
|
CUHK and the University of Manchester have established a range of research collaborations to build research capacity in various fields, including regenerative immunology. To complement the efforts, CUHK’s School of Biomedical Sciences and UoM’s School of Biological Sciences have recently launched a combined Bachelor’s and Master’s degree.
