CUHK solidifies its position as a top university in a number of major global university league tables.
CUHK has continued to solidify its position in higher education. The University has soared 11 places in the latest QS World University Rankings to 36th place, its highest ever position in the academic league table since it started in 2010. In the newly released US News and World Report’s Best Global Universities Rankings, CUHK has been placed 42nd and has come on top in Hong Kong for the second time. It also ranks in the world’s top 50 in eight subjects, including education and educational research (3rd), gastroenterology and hepatology (3rd), artificial intelligence (8th), computer science (12th), arts and humanities (26th), endocrinology and metabolism (32nd), clinical medicine (44th), and condensed matter physics (48th).
