The Office of Academic Links staged a remarkable comeback at the 2023 conference and exhibition of the Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE), one of the world’s three major international education conventions.
The University was featured at the Study in Hong Kong pavilion with other UGC-funded institutions. Provost Prof. Alan Chan chaired a panel session on the development of higher education in southeast Asia, and Ms. Shally Fan, Director of Academic Links, was sharing her insights and experience on utilising digital platforms for global education on a panel. Besides meetings to explore plans to enhance student mobility programmes, CUHK hosted a dinner to reconnect with partners and friends in the sector.
