Building partnerships with Chulalongkorn University

Following the visit of CUHK’s Faculty of Science to Chulalongkorn University’s (Chula) Faculty of Science last October, Prof. Chunshan Song, Dean of CUHK Science welcomed a return delegation led by Prof. Pranut Potiyaraj, Dean of Chula’s Faculty of Science in February. Joined by the deanery and researchers from CUHK Science, Prof. Anthony So, Dean of the Graduate School, and Ms. Amy Chan from the Office of Academic Links, the visit facilitated lively discussions to build partnerships in research and education.

CUHK and Chula have recognised each other as strategic partners, committed to fostering deep collaborations in research and education. In January 2025, the CUHK-Chula Research Fund was launched to provide faculty members from both universities with initial financial support for collaborative research initiatives. Faculty members interested in exploring collaboration with Chula are encouraged to contact the Office of Academic Links.
