📢Call for Applications: Naveen Jindal Young Global Research Fellowship Program Offered by O.P. Jindal Global University (Deadline: 30 Sep 2024)
O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) in India is inviting applications for its inaugural Naveen Jindal Young Global Research Fellowship Program.
This initiative offers PhD students and young faculty members an opportunity to participate in cross-disciplinary dialogues, collaborative research endeavors, teaching initiatives, and the development of innovative projects through a one-year program, which includes a 3-month on-campus residency and 9-month online supervision.

Key Features
The research fellowship program is structured around three key features:
(1) Collaborative Research: | Through forming interdisciplinary teams and conducting collaborative research, participants will be encouraged to diversify their research areas and develop unique solutions to their research problems. |
(2) Innovation Building: | Research workshops conducted by leading experts in various fields, covering topics such as research methodology, academic writing, and interdisciplinary collaboration. |
(3) Mentorship: | Each participant will be supervised by a senior faculty at JGU who will help the participants in refining research ideas, navigating academic challenges, and preparing for future career opportunities. |
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must:
- hold a recognised postgraduate degree in any discipline from a potential partner university, including CUHK
- be under the age of 42 years and demonstrate a rigorous interest in research and publications
Scope of Support
- Included: Accommodation, all meals, airport pick-up and drop-off, in-campus facilities, visa fees, visit to Taj Mahal and free resources
- Excluded: Return air tickets and all personal expenses
