[Deadline Extended to 15 July] Call For Participation: APRU Global Health Conference 2023

The Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU) is calling for participation in its APRU Global Health Conference 2023 to be held at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico during 25-27 October 2023.

Themed ‘Equity in Health’, the APRU Global Health Conference 2023 aims to facilitate inter-sectoral exchanges of world-class expertise and dissemination of cutting-edge research on equity in health. 

CUHK members are invited to take part in the following:

1.  Abstracts (Submission deadline extended to 15 July)

• Topics from all areas of health sciences research are welcome. In particular, four research themes including health systems, migration, indigenous health and global surgery are encouraged.
• Please submit a summary of research instead of an overview of the whole project.
• Participants can select their preferred modality for the abstract: oral/poster presentation.

2. Student Poster Contest (Submission deadline extended to 15 July)

• Applicants must be current undergraduate or graduate students at the time of submission.
• Post-doctoral students are not eligible. However, medical students are eligible to apply as graduate students.
• The poster must be related to global health and unpublished at the time of submission.

Interested applicants should register for an account and submit their entries online by 15 July 2023. Applicants are advised to send a copy of their application to the Office of Academic Links (c/o Ms. LAI Ching Yee; chingyee@cuhk.edu.hk) for record.
