Opportunities offered by Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU)
The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) is calling for applications for the Higher Education and the SDGs Challenge Grants and the ACU Fellowships.
(1) Higher Education and the SDGs Challenge Grants 2023-24 (Deadline: 2 May 2023, 18:00 HKT)
The Higher Education and the SDGs Challenge Grants are awarded to professional and academic staff at ACU member universities, including CUHK, to support collaborative work around the sustainable development goals (SDGs). The grants focus on five priority themes of the ACU Higher Education and the SDGs Network.
Four grants of GBP 2,500 each are available which can be used for a diverse range of activities, projects, workshops, and events. The project should cover a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 12 months.
Applicants are encouraged to collaborate with other ACU member universities or other organisations such as local governments to promote further Commonwealth partnerships.
Application
Interested parties should first register for a MyACU account and log in to the system to access the application form. Application should be submitted with the required information by 2 May 2023, 18:00 HKT.

(2) ACU Fellowships 2023-24 (Deadline: 29 May 2023, 17:00 HKT)
The ACU Fellowships facilitate collaboration and the creation of valuable new partnerships between ACU member universities, including CUHK. Each ACU Fellowship offers academics and professional services staff at ACU member universities 5,000 GBP towards a research visit to an ACU member university in a different country for up to 6 months between September 2023 and August 2024.
The following is a list of fellowships that are open for application by academics (who hold at least a PhD) and professional services staff at CUHK.

Interested applicants must first identify and approach a collaborator at an ACU member university outside Hong Kong. Applicants should register for a MyACU account and log in to the system to access the application form. Application should be submitted with the required information by 29 May, 2023 at 17:00 HKT.
