APRU Asia Pacific Women in Leadership (APWiL) Mentoring Program 2023-24 (Internal deadline: 15 May 2023)

The Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU) is inviting nominations for mentees for the Asia Pacific Women in Leadership (APWiL) Mentoring Program 2023–24 (4th Cohort).

Since its inception in 2020–21, the program has been very well received by the mentors and mentees from across the APRU network. Six mentors and six mentees from CUHK have taken part in the program so far.

This year, the program will pair a mentor and mentee from 24 participating APRU institutions on a year-long program focusing on empowerment, professional growth and development in order to expand the pipeline of aspiring women leaders. Mentors and mentees will identify goals and meet virtually, as well as join a cohort of mentor/mentee pairs in the APRU network and participate in workshops throughout the year. Topics for discussion may focus on leadership, empowerment, goals, work/life balance and/or other issues pertaining to gender equity and leadership. Matching of mentors and mentees will be arranged by APRU based on factors including the mentee’s goals and mentor’s areas of expertise, their research fields, regional diversity, and professional and life experiences.
