The following programmes are open for application:
ACU Virtual Mobility Project Grants
Application to the Virtual Mobility Project Grants offered by the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) is now open. The grants provide funding for ACU members, including CUHK, to deliver a virtual mobility project in partnership with another ACU member university before the end of 2021 with the aim of helping students to enhance their intercultural skills and global knowledge without the need for physical travel. Staff members including faculty are welcome to apply.
Scope of Support
The grants can be used to cover the costs of delivering a virtual mobility project, such as:
- Students from the two partner institutions collaborating on an assessed project
- A virtual event such as an online summer school
- Virtual experiential learning
- Other types of virtual mobility project which fits the aims of the scheme
Five grants of a maximum of GBP 4,500 will be available. Each grant will be split between the two institutions collaborating on the project.
Interested parties should first identify a partner at an ACU member university in another country. Particular preference will be given to projects that target the participation of traditionally under-represented groups. Application should be submitted online by 30 March 2021, 4pm UTC.

China-U.S. Scholars Program
The China-U.S. Scholars Program (CUSP) is an exchange fellowship program for Chinese and American scholars and students in the arts, humanities and social sciences to teach, study or conduct research abroad in mainland China, Hong Kong SAR or the U.S in 2021–2022. The program will award 48 grants to selected faculty and students.
The grant will support programs of five to ten months between August 2021 and May 2022 for these activities:

Scope of Support
- Living Stipend
- International Airfare
- Medical Insurance
- Professional Allowance
- Dependent Allowance (for scholars)
- Tuition (for students enrolled in an academic program)
Application should be submitted online by 15 April 2021, 11:59pm EDT. Selected awardees will be notified in late May 2021.
