About Us

Academic departments and programmes

CUHK has 61 academic departments offering over 110 undergraduate programmes and 240 postgraduate programmes. The quality of our teaching and learning has received high commendations from the Quality Assurance Council of the University Grants Committee (UGC), a non-statutory committee responsible for advising the government on the development and funding needs of higher education institutions in Hong Kong. These programmes are offered through the eight faculties and their respective departments and schools:
